Welcome to Decals By Coy. By accessing this website or placing an order with Decals By Coy, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing our products.

1. Aftermarket Product Disclaimer

All decals, graphics, lettering, and related products sold by Decals By Coy are aftermarket products.

Decals By Coy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with any vehicle manufacturer, dealership, or brand.

Any vehicle names, model names, trademarks, logos, or references appearing on this website are used solely to identify compatibility, fitment, sizing, or intended application.

2. Product Information

We strive to provide accurate descriptions, dimensions, photographs, colors, and product information. However, slight variations may occur due to the handmade nature of our products and normal manufacturing tolerances.

Vinyl colors may appear differently depending on your monitor, mobile device, lighting conditions, and viewing angle.

Because every decal is made to order, minor variations in size, alignment, or production are considered normal and are not manufacturing defects.

3. Custom-Made Products

Nearly all products sold by Decals By Coy are custom manufactured after an order is placed.

Please carefully verify all order information before completing checkout, including:

  • Vehicle compatibility

  • Product size

  • Vinyl color

  • Quantity

  • Shipping address

Once production has begun, custom orders cannot be modified or canceled.

4. Installation Responsibility

Customers assume full responsibility for installing purchased products correctly.

Installation instructions are provided as a general guide. Individual installation results depend on surface condition, environmental conditions, installation technique, and customer experience.

If you are not comfortable installing vinyl graphics, professional installation is recommended.

Decals By Coy is not responsible for damage resulting from improper installation, improper removal, incorrect surface preparation, misuse of installation tools, or failure to follow installation instructions.

5. Installation Conditions

For the best installation results:

  • Install only on clean, dry surfaces.

  • Do not install below 50°F (10°C) unless otherwise recommended.

  • Avoid installation during rain, excessive humidity, or dusty conditions.

  • Allow the adhesive to cure for 24–48 hours before washing the vehicle or exposing it to high-pressure water.

Failure to follow these recommendations may reduce adhesion and is not considered a manufacturing defect.

6. Freshly Painted or Repaired Vehicles

Do not install vinyl decals on freshly painted or recently repaired vehicle surfaces until the paint has completely cured.

Paint cure times vary depending on the paint manufacturer, paint system, environmental conditions, and repair process. Always follow the recommendations provided by your body shop or paint manufacturer.

Applying vinyl to uncured paint may cause paint or clear coat damage when the decal is removed or repositioned.

Decals By Coy is not responsible for paint or clear coat damage resulting from installation on surfaces that have not fully cured.

7. Surface Preparation

Before installation, ensure the application surface is:

  • Clean

  • Dry

  • Free of wax

  • Free of grease

  • Free of ceramic coatings

  • Free of dirt, dust, and road film

Customers should inspect the installation surface before applying any decal.

Do not install decals over:

  • Peeling paint

  • Failing clear coat

  • Rust

  • Oxidation

  • Damaged paint

  • Recently repaired surfaces that have not fully cured

Vinyl applied to deteriorated surfaces may not adhere properly and may lift damaged paint during removal.

8. Installation Care

Use caution during installation.

If trimming is necessary, never cut directly against your vehicle's paint, glass, trim, window tint, weather stripping, or any other vehicle surface.

Always trim away from the vehicle using appropriate cutting techniques.

Improper use of razor blades, utility knives, or other sharp tools may permanently scratch or damage your vehicle.

Do not reposition or remove a decal after it has fully adhered, as doing so may damage the decal or the vehicle's finish.

Decals By Coy is not responsible for scratches, paint damage, glass damage, window tint damage, trim damage, or other vehicle damage resulting from improper installation or misuse of installation tools.

9. Decal Removal

Removing vinyl decals may lift weak, damaged, improperly applied, or deteriorated paint or clear coat.

Vehicle paint condition varies and cannot be evaluated by Decals By Coy.

We are not responsible for paint, clear coat, or surface damage that occurs during decal removal.

10. Product Use

Our products are intended for installation on clean, smooth, properly prepared surfaces.

Product performance and longevity may vary depending on:

  • Surface condition

  • Weather exposure

  • UV exposure

  • Vehicle maintenance

  • Installation quality

  • Environmental conditions

Normal wear over time is expected and is not considered a manufacturing defect.

11. Custom Artwork

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use any logos, trademarks, artwork, or other materials submitted for custom orders.

Decals By Coy reserves the right to refuse any custom order that may violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property laws.

12. Intellectual Property

All original artwork, graphics, photographs, product layouts, product listings, logos, branding, website content, and marketing materials created by Decals By Coy are protected by copyright and applicable intellectual property laws.

Unauthorized copying, reproduction, redistribution, resale, modification, or commercial use of our original content is strictly prohibited without prior written permission.

13. Order Acceptance

Decals By Coy reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to:

  • Pricing or typographical errors

  • Product availability

  • Fraud prevention

  • Duplicate orders

  • Requests involving unlawful, offensive, or infringing content

  • Orders that violate applicable intellectual property laws

If payment has already been processed, a full refund will be issued for any canceled order.

14. Shipping & Delivery

Production times are estimates and may vary due to order volume, custom requests, holidays, weather, equipment maintenance, or material availability.

Once an order has been accepted by the shipping carrier, delivery times are outside the control of Decals By Coy.

We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, severe weather, customs processing, incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer, or other circumstances beyond our control.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Decals By Coy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from the purchase, installation, removal, or use of our products.

Our total liability for any claim relating to a product shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for that product.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

17. Changes to These Terms

Decals By Coy reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Changes become effective immediately upon being posted on this website. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.
